Minecraft Redesign UI/UX Project

This project was designed to tackle elements of Minecraft's UI and redesign them to improve the player's experience while retaining the vanilla feel.

Get Over Here!

This jewel is the keystone to my redesign. It attaches to chests, allowing the player to have their items pulled out of their inventory as they walk by.

Five To Drive

This menu showcases the selection screen for a vacuum jewel equipped chest. You select up to five items and those items will be removed as the player walks by in a vortex effect.

Neat & Tidy

Another major addition is hot bar specifications. This allows players to add a specification to each slot on their hot bar that only the nine selected items can go in that slot. So, if the player has a loadout they like to keep, a player can pick all their items back up and get back into action much faster.

Beautification

This last feature is banners for the hot bar. This feature adds a little customization potential to the otherwise simple HUD. It also has potential for themed events or special drops, which is a design solution for both the consumer and the company.
